Hink Sound Terms & Conditions

We want your experience with Hink to be smooth and collaborative. To help make that happen, here are the key policies and expectations for working together.

I. Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your project. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 50% balance is due before the final round of revisions.

II. Revisions

We’ll present two initial concepts for your project. You’ll then have up to two rounds of revisions on the chosen concept. Additional revisions beyond this will be billed at 30% of the total project fee.

To keep things moving, please provide feedback and make your concept choice within 7 days of receiving the files.

III. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Zelle

  • Venmo

  • Cash

  • PayPal (a 5% processing fee may apply to some PayPal transactions)

IV. Project Restart Fee

If communication pauses for 7 days or more, your project will be placed on hold. To resume work, a restart fee of $200 or 25% of the total project fee (whichever is greater) will be required. The project will then be rescheduled based on our availability.

Restart fees will be added to the overall project total.

V. File Management

  • Final Files: Full payment is required before receiving final project files.

  • File Storage: Hink is not responsible for storing client files after project completion.

  • Self-Promotion: Hink may use project materials for promotional purposes or submissions to contests after project completion, cancellation or standby.

  • Modifications: Please do not modify or alter the work without Hink’s written consent.

  • Credits: We kindly ask that you credit Hink in connection with the work in all forms of publication.

  • Publication Copy: If applicable, please provide Hink with a copy of the work upon publication (after 3rd party mastering or similar).

VI. Additional Fees

Additional fees will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

  • PayPal: A 5% fee applies to some PayPal transactions.

  • Third-Party Services: Fees for studio musicians, songwriters, or other third-party providers will vary and are not included in the project fee.

  • Equipment Rentals: Fees for renting equipment or spaces (e.g., mics, amps, studios) are additional if needed.

VII. Terms & Conditions

  • Media Release: Final media files will be released upon full payment.

  • Additional Services: Backups, transfers, stems, and alternate versions are billed as standard studio time.

  • Liability: Hink is not responsible for client masters, equipment, personal belongings, or data loss caused by hard drive failure or software issues.

  • Rescheduling: Hink reserves the right to reschedule sessions as needed.

This document outlines all the policies and requirements for working with Hink. By clicking “I agree” and completing the fields below, as your digital signature, you agree to these terms and conditions. Non-compliance may result in the withholding of deliverables until the account is paid in full.
