Objective: Develop an identity and assets for SunGuard SPF, a mock brand developed for BrandGuard to showcase their platform.
Description: Under the Creative Direction of BrandGuard, we created a flexible set of logos, an expanded color palette, typography, patterns, and style guidelines. In addition to a simple guide for using the brand elements, we collaborated on designing an output Brand Style Guide pdf generated from user input. We created dozens of social posts (both on-brand and off) to help train BrandGuard’s AI tool. This tool speeds up the creative review process significantly by discarding anything deemed as off-brand early on - catching things like incorrect fonts, old logos, etc.

Objective: Concept and develop an identity for the sister company F-IT by Any Means Necessary, offering a fitness-focused product line. The new logo should establish a strong brand presence, fostering recognition and differentiation in the market while maintaining consistency with the overarching brand identity of Any Means Necessary.
Description: Mikey Nemitz and Shawn Coss of Any Means Necessary reached out early in 2024 about launching a no-apologies fitness brand for the gym-obsessed individuals of the world. We were more than happy to accommodate! The two AMN founders were interested in exploring a bold mark that played with the positive/negative space, and that would be flexible across print and digital collateral.
Naming - During the discovery and research phase, and reviewing brand strategy, we casually tossed out the idea of playing with FIT and F*ck It… something along the lines of F/IT by AMN. The guys liked the name and it stuck!
The logomark - We noticed when you use an uppercase ‘F’ and then rotate a second one 90 degrees, the negative space resembles a dumbbell. This mark is flexible and can be used as a repeating pattern placed on packaging, as a mask over product photography or simply on it’s own.
The wordmark - the dash between ‘F’ and ‘IT’ has a flexible width and can expand/contract depending on the deliverable. This reflects the adaptability of the F-IT target audience.

Objective: The Cuddle Clones Brand Refresh was just that, a refresh. A face-lift. Subtle but impactful tweaks that will bring a more modern approach to the visual identity while remaining true to the brand.
Description: Cuddle Clones already had a pretty well established brand; however, it was limited, a bit dated, and in need of a facelift. In collaboration with the Dianthus and Cuddle Clones executive, merchandise, marketing and web/tech teams, we made a plan to move forward with subtle but impactful tweaks to bring a more modern approach to the visual identity while remaining true to the brand.
This refresh included updating the color palette, typography, logo, pet illustrations, landing page, graphic and iconic elements for print, web and social collateral, and also product design! The identity refresh work was done within about 6 weeks, and we used those core elements to continue adding to pattern, icon and template libraries over the next few months.
