Graphlan

Deliverables: Logos, Typography, Palette, One-pager, Product Design, Landing Page

Objective: Design a dynamic and flexible identity system that visually communicates the tool’s ability to support users as they manage their work graphs, grow communities, and expand ecosystems. The design needs to appeal to a broad range of users, from individual professionals to community builders and developers, using a modern, tech-forward aesthetic. All deliverables need to convey innovation, inclusivity, and growth potential, while providing a seamless user experience.

Description: I worked directly with the founder of Graphlan to develop the identity system. The obvious visual connected to the name “Graphlan” for us was… graph paper. We started with a standard 1x1 grid and then played with filling in blocks to make shapes. We liked the emerging idea of building blocks/parts making up a whole and how that concept connected to the brand objective. The flexible set of design assets works well both on screen and in print. This project took approximately 6-8 weeks, and was followed up with additional UI work that we’ll (hopefully) share in the future.
